Strybing Arboretum

Strybing Arboretum Botanical Garden, located in the extraordinary Golden Gate Park, offers an urban oasis of extraordinary beauty. The mild Mediterranean climate of San Francisco enables the SFBG to grow and conserve plants from all over the world, including plants that are no longer found in their native habitats. The gardens display a variety of trees, plants, and flowers from coastal regions around the United States.  Featuring over 7,500 plant varieties from around the world on 55 acres of sanctuary, landscaped gardens and open spaces, the Botanical Garden's world of gardens also features an excellent horticulture library, bookstore, and environmental education programs.
